A charming addition to a farmhouse, equally at home in a contemporary setting

Timber stable doors are increasingly popular and our own door designs replicate the traditional barn-style entrance that is especially suited to cottages and farmhouses. However, many people choose them for more contemporary projects, just opt for a bold colour or contemporary hardware and you’re all set.

What are stable doors?

Stable doors or Dutch doors as they are sometimes called are split into two parts. This allows the top half to be opened while the bottom remains shut, making them ideal for providing extra ventilation. They are also great for keeping small children and pets inside or outside, if required!

Are timber stable doors secure?

Our timber stable doors are all PAS 24 and secured by design. They incorporate multi-point locking and a discrete system for separating top and bottom.

Similar to all of the timber doors that we manufacture, our timber stable door incorporates multi-point locking and cylinder locks that meet the TS007 3 Star British Kitemark and the SS312 Sold Secure diamond standards

If the colour coating you require is not included in our standard options then we can match a physical sample of any branded paint colour. We can also provide doorsets in dual colour, allowing the exterior to be a different colour to the interior.
