As part of its “How to specify” series, George Barnsdale has launched its latest CPD aimed at architects and specifiers – The Magic of Glass which will be available via a covid-safe webinar on Wednesday 20th January 2021 at 1pm-2pm.
There is a lot to consider when specifying glass which has come a long way in the last 50 years. This CPD will explore the importance of glass specification in achieving the best outcome for any given project. It will investigate how glass was developed over centuries to the highly technical product it is today. It will cover the key factors in glass choice covering optical, thermal, acoustic, security, safety and fire considerations and explains the importance of considering the window as a whole rather than simply the glazing in order to fully optimise performance.
