As part of its continued commitment to supporting the local community George Barnsdale was proud to be one of the sponsors for the local community event “Donington Fest 2022.”
The much-missed festival returned on 30th July for the first time since 2019 with music, games, food and drinks and special attractions for the kids and was a huge success with people from Donington and the local area coming together at the sports field.
As part of the sponsorship George Barnsdale received a small number of entry tickets and drinks tokens which were put into a raffle for staff to use.
One of the attendees was our Internal Sales Manager Tegan Swadling who said “It was a great night out with lots of laughter, dancing, and fun. It was lovely to see everyone coming together after the last couple of years of restrictions to gatherings.”
Commenting on the company’s sponsorship Tom Wright, MD said “We are proud to have been part of the Donington community for almost 140 years and it’s a pleasure to sponsor events like this one and the recent jubilee event which enables us to give something back to the area we live and work in.
