The Government scheme aims to change attitudes and cultures in businesses to enable them to have access to the widest pool of talent, secure high quality staff and improve morale and commitment about employees.
Ines Oliveira, Team Leader at George Barnsdale has worked alongside the local job centre to ensure the company’s practices are consistent with the values of the scheme and has championed the rights of disabled people in the workplace at local events. Here she is at the recent Disability Confident Employer Conference held by South Holland District Council and the Job Centre.
