As part of its commitment to supporting architects and specifiers with their continual professional development, George Barnsdale has launched its latest CPD webinar ‘Character & Compliance: Confidently specify timber windows and doors’.

The CPD webinar, which takes place on the 13th November at 11am, will explore how to confidently specify timber windows and doors, both to ensure a building retains its character, whilst delivering the highest standards of performance, all while remaining within product scopes to have the upmost confidence in compliance.

In addition to this, George Barnsdale’s upcoming CPD webinar will also explore the role of certification and provide attendees with a deep insight into getting glazing systems right, combined with an understanding of how to specify to replicate details without compromising on performance.

Steve Dixon, Technical Sales Director at George Barnsdale, will be hosting this latest webinar, and will provide guidance and perspective on how to specify timber windows and doors, all whilst navigating increasingly demanding regulations.

Steve comments, ‘I am really looking forward to this CPD event. Specification is a prevalent topic within the industry and amongst architects, whose responsibility it is to get it right. Having come from a joinery background, I understand first-hand how a product is made and what needs to be considered when building a spec, which is why I look forward to providing guidance and having an open discussion about this topic with likeminded industry experts.’

There will be an opportunity at the end of the webinar for participants to ask questions in our Q&A session.
