George Barnsdale is celebrating making it to the final shortlist of the BWF Project of the Year Award for the work undertaken to restore a listed Victorian shopfront. Part of the 150 Bishopsgate Plaza project, the shopfront was painstakingly dismantled transported to the company’s Lincolnshire site and repaired by hand by our skilled crafstmen.
The final awards evening will take place at the Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel on 26th November where we will find out if we are overall winners.
We are so pleased that the judges have recognised the hard work we put into this project and that the effort we put into sympathetically repairing the shopfront to the way it would have looked in its Victorian heyday. My great great great grandfather would be delighted.
