Project description
George Barnsdale manufactured and supplied flush casement wooden windows, inward opening doorsets and outward opening doorsets for Turley Corner, an impressive residential property in Whitney, Oxfordshire.
Working alongside The Anderson Orr Partnership, we manufactured 15 flush casement wooden windows, 3 inward opening doorsets and 1 outward opening doorset. The products were manufactured from Red Grandis which is a stable and durable hardwood and comes with FSC® Chain of Custody, ensuring that it is sourced sustainably.
The flush casement windows for Turley Corner were manufactured in a range of sizes and achieved a ‘C’ rating for window energy performance. The windows were fitted with our high quality Celtic handles with a brass finish which offer a traditional design to suit the aesthetics of the property.
The inward and outward opening doorsets were fitted at Turley Corner with premium quality Frank Allart door handles which are based on original period designs and finished in polished brass to match the casement windows. The vision panel in the front door was also fitted with toughened glass to provide enhanced security performance.
The wooden windows and doors were supplied fully finished in Silk Grey (RAL 7044) in keeping with the design of the property.
“We are very impressed with the high quality of the products and the service that we received throughout the project, right from the initial planning stages through to completion. We are very happy with the end result.”
