The owner of this quintessential English period property wanted to replace her existing draughty windows with new energy efficient ones without affecting the traditional aesthetics of the home and she preferably wanted windows and doors that were made in Britain. George Barnsdale’s bespoke timber windows which are 100% made in England were the natural choice.
A selection of traditional double glazed timber sliding sash windows were manufactured and finished in white as well as a narrow stable door for the kitchen. Due to the patented sash seal that is incorporated in all George Barnsdale sliding sash windows, the performance of these windows is second to none. The only complaint that the homeowner has is that she can no longer hear the birds in the morning because they are so airtight therefore, acoustically high performing!
