Project description
When Mr and Mrs Mollart, the owners of this charming stone cottage, were looking for help with their cottage refurbishment and update their kitchen, they contacted us to help with the provision of a window solution that would bathe the room in natural sunlight. Their existing kitchen windows were made of timber but the natural warmth was masked by a dark coloured stain, which made the room appear quite cold.
Through collaboration with our approved partner installer, Mr and Mrs Mollart decided on a complete transformation of the kitchen’s bay window area. The original timber windows were replaced with a beautiful floor to ceiling glazing solution, incorporating a French Door set to provide a seamless link to their delightful garden as well as significantly improving the amount of natural sunlight entering the room. To complete the kitchen area, new Flush Casement Windows were fitted to the dining area. Both the French Doors and wooden casement windows were finished with paint to match Farrow & Ball Wimborne White to complement the existing windows
In addition to the kitchen transformation, the owners decided to redefine the character of the property’s front elevation through the provision of new Flush Casement Windows for the lounge and bedrooms.
