In response to growth in its commercial projects and to bolster the operations management, George Barnsdale is delighted to announce the appointment of two new members of staff. John Rigby, takes on the newly created role of Operations Director and Neil Metcalfe joins as Project Manager.
John comes with a wealth of experience from his decades of working in the construction industry. He is reviewing the processes and procedures across the entire operation to ensure the smooth running of the increasingly complex projects George Barnsdale is getting involved in on behalf of clients like Balfour Beatty and Sir Robert McAlpine.
Neil is an experienced Project Manager with a background in power generation and brings his extensive knowledge and experience of systems integration and project delivery. He is responsible for coordinating the customer journey from the point of order , through manufacturing planning to installation.
Commenting on the newly created roles, Tom Wright, Managing Director said: “We work very closely with our commercial clients to deliver a full service package from design, manufacture and installation and these new appointments will enable us to refine the process and to grow our commercial base further. I am delighted that John and Neil have joined us at this exciting time and I am enjoying working with them.”
